Anaheim, California-based Nippon Ichi Software America has officially confirmed plans to release its strategy RPG Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tomb this July. The PlayStation 2 title, which will be released in Japan under its original title Phantom Kingdom on March 17th, is the latest strategy RPG coming from NIS America's parent company, Gifu-based Nippon Ichi Software.

In an exclusive interview with RPGFan, Nippon Ichi Software president Kouichi Kitazumi had previously already revealed the game's July release date in the US.
