Square Enix today announced the formation of Beiijing-based Square Enix China. With the creation of this new subsidiary, the company aims to unify its operations on the Chinese market and in the Asia Pacific region (excluding Japan). Previously, Square Enix utilized a joint venture with a Taiwanese company to manage its online game operations in the main Chinese market. In the future, this joint venture will be integrated in toSquare Enix China.
