Namco has announced that a new designer will be in charge of creating the character designs for the next Tales game. On Friday February 18th, the company plans to reveal the identity of the mysterious designer. Longtime series designers Kousuke Fujishima and Matsuki Inomata have recently worked on Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Rebirth respectively.

It remains to be seen whether this new Tales game will be the same game which has been dubbed Project MelFes, in a trailer which was included on a DVD shipping with Tales of Rebirth.
