02.08.05 - 10:07 PM

The Japanese Computer Entertainment Suppliers Assocation (CESA) has revealed first details regarding this year's Tokyo Game Show. The 15th edition of the world's second largest trade fair behind Electronic Entertainment Expo E3 will take place in Chiba prefecture's Makuhari Messe from September 16th through 18th. Just like every year, the general public will have to wait until September 17th before they can enter the halls of the Nippon Convention Center. On the 16th only company representatives, members of the media as well as invited guests are free to enter.
Among the main features of this year's show will be a Mobile Corner and an even greater emphasis on online gaming. At the Mobile Corner, companies will not only exhibit titles for the newest cellphone platforms, but also development tools.

Furthermore, the organizers are aiming to broaden the show's audience. Traditionally, Tokyo Game Show is attracting mainly hardcore game fans in their teens and 20s. This time however, the organizers also aim to lure kids aged 12 and below as well as people in their 40s and older, to Chiba.
