In the newest issue of Weekly Famitsuu, Hironobu Sakaguchi announced the third project of his development studio Mistwalker. The mastermind behind the Final Fantasy series has confirmed the development of a simulation RPG for the Nintendo DS. While the game has yet to receive an official title, it apparently can be played by exclusively using the DS' stylus. Sakaguchi is concurrently serving as producer, scenario writer and game designer. Players can expect to control a party of four to five characters. In addition to this simulation RPG, Mistwalker is working on two other RPG titles.
Furthermore, the article revealed that Square Enix veteran and Final Fantasy XII art director Hideo Minaba has set up his own company Designation, after leaving Square Enix last October. He will however remain with the company until the development of Final Fantasy XII has been completed.
