Release of Phantasy Star 2 Gets Pushed Back 01.28.05 - 1:18 AM Sega has pushed back the release date of Phantasy Star generation:2, the PlayStation 2 remake of its classic Mega Drive (Genesis) RPG by four weeks. Published under the budget label Sega Ages 2500, the game will be available in Japan on March 24th, instead of February 24th. Apparently, the delay has become necessary after the company decided to include the original Mega Drive version of the game in the remake. Sega Ages 2500 Series Volume 17: Phantasy Star generation:2 will be available for 2,500 yen ($24.27 US).
