Nippon Ichi Software has updated the official website of its PlayStation 2 title Phantom Kingdom with some new character profiles. The God of Destruction Alexander is the old enemy of protagonist Zeta and has already sent 20,846 assassins and waged 6,413 wars against him. His current intentions however are unclear. The witch Salome is Zeta's daughter and trying to help her old man. Torenia is a mysterious girl and apparently the key to the game's story. Royal King Dark the 3rd is the self-declared king of the Underworld. If the situation requires, he is capable of altering his body in an instant. Rusuka is a factory manager, existing in a time-space interval. It is said that mysterious things existing in the Underworld are produced by her.

In further Phantom Kingdom-related news, Nippon Ichi has announced a pre-order campaign for the game. Japanese fans who pre-order the title will be treated to a B4-sized artbook. Titled Phantom Kingdom: Makai Illustrations, this 24-page book is only available in limited quantities, fans are advised to place their pre-orders as soon as possible.

Phantom Kingdom will be released in Japan on March 17th. The standard version will be available for 6,800 yen ($66.28 US), while the first print limited edition will cost 8,800 yen ($85.77 US).
