Sega Announces Management Restructuring Plans for US, Europe

Sega has announced, that the company has integrated the management teams of its two wholly-owned subsidiaries Sega of America and Sega Europe. Under this new reorganization plan, Sega veteran Naoya Tsurumi has been appointed CEO of Sega of America and Sega Europe, while former LucasArts Entertainment president Simon Jeffery will assume the position of president and COO at Sega of America. Mike Hayes will become COO of Sega Europe and Sue Hughes vice-president in charge of sales at Sega of America.

These management changes are aimed at achieving higher growth in both western markets, as Sega is preparing for the launch of the next generation of hardware.
