Namco Announces Original GBA RPG
01.21.05 - 7:24 PM

Santa Clara, California-based Namco Hometek has announced Sigma Star Saga, an original title in development for Game Boy Advance. Sigma Star Saga will combine RPG elements, like a deep storyline and exploration, with an action-oriented battle system. The WayForward-developed game will let players assume control over a double agent, sent by the Allied Earth Federation to help defeat the alien Krill. According to an intelligence report, the Krill have a particular interest in six planets. It is now up to the player to find out what is causing this special interest. During their journey through the galaxy players can discover new Krill weaponry and other items to equip themselves and their spaceship. 50 different Gun Data pieces can also be collected and later combined to create unique weapons.

Sigma Star Saga will be available in the US in June.
