I have been told by many wise individuals that a "classic" is "that which stands the test of time." Though it has only been six years or so since Xenogears rocked our world, some are saying that among all of Yasunori Mitsuda's compositions, this one takes the cake. Reader-reviewer Jesse Jones weighs in on such a stance in his review of the Xenogears OST, now featuring updated RealAudio samples!
Of course, I couldn't let Jesse outdo yours truly, so I decided to let you all know how I felt about three fairly old soundtracks. First, there is the Arc the Lad "Original Game Soundtrack", which is a terrible misnomer, as the soundtrack is composed of eleven arranged pieces. I do not mean to flatter myself, but you really ought to read the review on this one if you have never heard of this soundtrack before.
I also finally got around to telling the world my personal feelings on the music from those early PS2 From Software titles: Eternal Ring and Evergrace. Though both games were very much a flop in terms of solid gameplay, perhaps their music has more to offer.

In the next update, expect to see some wildly obscure music that will leave you thirsting for more from composers and publishers of which you had never even previously heard.
