Blizzard Entertainment has revealed, that it has sold more 350,000 copies of its highly anticipated MMORPG World of Warcraft, following the PC title's November 23rd release. One week after its release, the game's total sales figure already exceeds 350,000 copies. Accordingly servers got crowdy pretty quickly. On November 23rd, more than 200,000 players set up their game accounts and by 05:00 pm PST 100,000 of them were already exploring its virtual world. As a reaction to the huge popularity, Blizzard quickly deployed an additional 40 servers (bringing the total number of World of Warcraft servers to 80) and is looking into ways to ship more copies of the games to retailers.
