VM Japan Goes PS2
11.26.04 - 5:42 PM

Asmik-Ace has announced plans to bring Nihon Falcom's 2002 title VM Japan to PlayStation 2 sometime next year. Compared to the original PC version, the new release of the simulation RPG will feature additional stages to bring its total to 41 as well as eight new side stories and events. Furthermore, seven new sub characters, an enhanced battle system and newly recorded voice overs will make this release a major remake.

Nihon Falcom has been very active in licensing its titles lately, with Konami, Taito and Bandai all have acquired the rights to publish various installments of the company's two flagship series, Ys and Eiyuu Densetsu (Legend of Heroes) on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.

VM Japan for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan on February 3rd 2005 for 6,800 yen ($66.32 US).
