Hudson Gets New President
11.05.04 - 2:37 AM

Hudson has announced the appointment of a new president today. 50-year old Shizuoka-native Hidetoshi Endou will take over from Hiroshi Kudou as the highest executive of the Sapporo-based company. A graduate of Tokyo's Sophia University, Endou entered Hudson in 1984 and became an executive director two years ago. Kudou, who founded Hudson jointly with his brother Yuji in 1973, will assume the role of a chairman while relinquishing his executive powers. Yuji and Hiroshi Kudou are still Hudson's second and third largest shareholder behind Konami, holding a 22,81% stake in the maker of Bomberman and Tengai Makyou.
