New Fire Emblem GC Details 11.05.04 - 2:10 AM Nintendo has released some new details regarding its Intelligent Systems-developed GameCube title Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki. The strategy RPG series' first GameCube installment will feature three difficulty modes: normal, hard and maniac. Upon acquiring a "secret" skill, players can become a special unit and make use of hidden techniques. Various units such as beasts and winged creatures will be able to alter their appearance. In addition, Nintendo of Japan uploaded a short teaser trailer to their website featuring clips of a few upcoming Gamecube titles. The clip shows Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki at the end, so fans can get an idea of what the animations in the game will look like; as well Ike's class is Ranger, unlike previous main characters in the series, whose classes are usually Lord. Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki will be available in Japan sometime this winter.
