Atlus has opened the official website for its PlayStation 2 sequel Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2. While most sections are still closed, the company has already opened the story section, giving visitors a first glance at the Avatar Tuner 2's story. At the beginning of the game, the prequel's protagonist Serf is wandering around an unkown wasteland, looking for his friends. The Junkyard, where Avatar Tuner's story began is gone and his good friends have dispersed in the gloomy land. What he considered a promised land, in fact turned out to be deserted land, in which humans have been reduced to cruel shadows of their former selves. All of the sudden, knights in white armor appear in front of Serf,referring to him as an affiliated, but unknown Avatar Tuner. The knights, who wear the same crest as members of the Karma Church attack in an attempt to seize the protagonist, but Serf draws his machine gun and knocks out four of his attackers. But the knights transform into monsters with a skill, similiar to Serf's own transformation ability. After Serf changes his form as well, a struggle for life and death ensues.

Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2 will be released in Japan sometime in early 2005.
