Square Enix has opened the official website for its tri-Ace-developed title Radiata Stories. The PlayStation 2 game will take players to a world which is inhabited by humans, elves, dwarves and goblins. The kingdom of the humans is called Radiata. The game's two protagonist are Jack Russell and Ridley Timberlake. 16-year old Jack is set to become a royal knight like his father and enters the selection process to become a member of the military unit. Ridley also was raised to become a royal knight by her own distinguished family. The 16-year old girl has a generally cool, serious and not very accommodating character. On the other hand, she also has a weak and fragile side. Due to a certain incident, she becomes involved in the game's story. As previously reported, the development team at tri-Ace is implementing a so-called time schedule system. The system will set the daily habits of Radiata's residents. For instance, shops and bars will have opening hours. During the real-time battles, it will be possible to give instructions to the other three active party members.

Radiata Stories will be released in Japan sometime in spring 2005.
