Codemasters has announced, that the company has cancelled development of its PC-based MMORPG Dragon Empires. The company cited technical issues as the reason behind the discontinuation. The end of Dragon Empires however does not mean that Codemasters won't explore future possibilities in the market of multiplayer online games. Members of the Dragon Empires team have already been transferred to other internal development teams.
