Square Enix announced that Ichirou Otobe has succeeded Jun Iwasaki as president and chief operating officer of its Los Angeles, California-based North American subsidiary. His predecessor Jun Iwasaki has been the company's point man in the world's largest video game market since 1998, when he was appointed head of Square Electronic Arts LLC and later, Square Enix USA.
