Nintendo's GameCube title Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki might be available in Japan this year, provided development goes ahead quickly and smoothly. There is however a possibility that the highly anticipated Intelligent Systems-developed title's release might have to be pushed back into 2005. Furthermore, it is still unknown what connectivity features with the the series' newest Game Boy Advance installment, Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki, will be implemented in Souen no Kiseki.
In the meantime, Nintendo has opened the official website for Seima no Kouseki. The game will be available in Japan on October 7th for 4,800 yen (43.17 US). Officially Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki is currently listed for a winter 2004 release in Japan.
