Following our media update for Final Fantasy XII, we now present you one for Square Enix's second-biggest upcoming game. While not quite as popular in North America as it is in Japan, Dragon Quest has been the only RPG series with nearly as much (if not as much) name recognition as the company's other big seller, Final Fantasy. Dragon Quest VIII is taking a drastic departure from the Heartbeat-developed seventh chapter in the series - at least visually. The newest entry is being developed in part by Level-5, which will be apparent to anyone looking at the screens, as they have a very Dark Cloud 2 feel, but in a Dragon Quest world.
