Square Enix has released some new details about plans regarding new cellphone-based content. The FOMA-based Final Fantasy VII prequel Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII will be an online action RPG, taking place six years prior to the events of Square Enix's best selling PlayStation One hit. Upon assembling a team, players will clear the game's various missions. Development on the title is currently progressing as planned.

At the same time, the company is also working on Final Fantasy XI-related mobile content. The viewer-like software will enable users to exchange themselves for instance with other members of their Linkshell. As Square Enix is labeling it a solution to keep in touch with the game's virutal world 24 hours, chat, PT and other features will be implemented.
