Square Enix has announced that the beta test for the PlayStation 2 version of its newest PlayOnline title Front Mission Online will commence sometime this fall. Fans interested in taking part in the beta can submit their applications from July 23rd to August 6th. This first beta testing phase will be followed by two others, before the final product's release.

Front Mission Online will be available in Japan sometime in 2005.
