Square Enix has announced that its PlayStation 2 title Star Ocean: Till the End of Time will be available in the US on August 31st for $49.99 US. The North American version of the tri-Ace developed RPG is based not on the original release, but on the enhanced director's cut version, which was released in Japan earlier this year. Both releases have sold a combined 660,000 copies in Japan.

A European version of the game will be available later this year as well.
