Sony Online Entertainment Hosts First EverQuest Guild Summit 06.19.04 - 11:30 AM Sony Online Entertainment recently hosted the first EverQuest Guild Summit. Almost 70 representatives from prominent EverQuest guilds met with the EverQuest Live team to discuss their views on the popular MMORPG. In their luggage, the users who have come from around the US, had a huge array of suggestions. While the company mentioned that it will take time to implemement the various changes wished for by the user community, the newest patch already includes some features implemented due to user requests. Among the issues addressed in the recent update are: -The scripting for the Plane of Time has been altered, so that the server will shut down unused instances of the zone. Thereby players do not have to wait for another group anymore. Raid leaders can now post notes in the Raid Window. Raid leaders can edit each Raid member's individual notes and send notes to all members. With the next update, Sony Online Entertainment plans to address collision issues, continue the fine tuning of Gates of Discord, change the Mouselook feature for better control, add voice overs to the character creation process as well as add a /guidehelp command.
