Greetings fans. Two editorial updates in a month for the second month in a row. Things are looking up, what with the great deal of free time my new job affords me. Today's editorials update involves a sampling from a wide range of topics.

First, we have an editorial pointing out the lapse Square Enix is making by not porting Dragon Quest V for PS2 to America. Luckily, this is not just another "sign my petition" rant and actually presents some coherent points. Check it out.

Next up we have staff favorite, Chris Winkler with a retrospective and a prospectus on Square Enix, one year after their famous and highly scrutinized merger. It's a rather compelling editorial.

Finally, we have a note from Michael V. regarding females in video games, aka the topic I asked people to write in about for this update. Again, some interesting points made.
