Square Enix has revealed the fifth playable character to appear in the upcoming next main installment of its flagship Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XII for PlayStation 2. The cheerful and bright 16-year old girl named Pannelo (seen in the photo below) loves to sing and dance. Interestingly enough, she also happens to be the girlfriend of protagonist Vaan. However, the couple also tends to quarrel occasionally, as couples do. So far, four other playable characters have been announced: the male lead Vaan, the female lead Ashe, the gun-wielding Balflear and his partner the female Viera, Fran.
Final Fantasy XII will be available in Japan sometime this summer.
