Koei Downgrades Projections for Current Fiscal Year
03.15.04 - 10:46 AM

Following delays of several titles including Kurenai no Umi 2 for PlayStation 2, Koei has downgraded its full year outlook. For the fiscal year ending March 31st, the company now expects consolidated sales of 28.2 billion yen ($254.67 million US), or 3.8% lower than the figure mentioned in earlier estimates. Accordingly, net profit is expected to be 7 billion yen ($63.22 million US), or 2.8% less than previously anticipated. Regardless of today's correction, Koei is still set to post a fifth consecutive fiscal year with increased yields and profit.
