Alchemic And watAgame Team Up For Cellphone Based MMORPG

Canadian company Alchemic Dream has inked a publishing deal with Danish developer watAgame regarding the Copenhagen-based company's fantasy MMORPG Era of Eidolon. The title is the first worldwide cell-phone based MMORPG and features multi-player battles, in-game chatting as well as clan and ranking systems. The developers plan to expand the game by adding new story-related content in the future.

Currently only the first episode, Orumant - the town of Queen Sorena is available for 5.99 euro ($7.32 US). The release of the next two episodes, Dagonar - the town of Queen Furyana and Ravarcil - the town of Queen Arsenica is scheduled to be forthcoming soon. Depending on the mobile phone operator an hour of playing the game online costs between 0.14 euros ($0.17 US) and 0.6 euros ($0.73 US). In the US, Verizon charges fees 0.35 euros ($0.43 US) per hour.
