Currently in the final stages of their closed North American beta testing, NCsoft’s Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle is already showing promise in the MMORPG market. Released in late September in Korea, sales have been steadily increasing as the developers work on the translation for the April release in North America. Boasting an array of player controlled areas, and a sensible player vs. player system Lineage II is likely to be stiff competition to established MMORPGs.
