D.I.C.E. Summit Details Announced

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced the speakers of this year's D.I.C.E. Summit, which has begun today in Los Vegas, Nevada and will run until March 5th. Participants will be greeted by Electronic Arts Chief Creative Officer Bing Gordon's opening speech. Other keynote speakers include Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux, Activision president Kathy Vrabeck, Flagship Games CEO Bill Roper, the president and co-founder of Naughty Dog Jason Rubin, WizKids' Jordan Weisman, Wired Magazine editor in chief Chris Anderson, Jordan Mechner, the creator and designer of the original Prince of Persia as well as Patrice Desilets, the creative director of the highly acclaimed new title which was released last year. Apart from the workshops, the AIAS will award its Annual Interactive Achievements Awards during the summit. Awards in 36 different categories will be honor outstanding achievements in the console, computer and online game sector. Electronic Arts has gathered 29 nominations, followed by Ubi Soft and Sony Computer Entertainment wiht 23 and 21 nominations respectively.
