Former Naughty Dog and Blizzard staffers have founded a new California-based development studio called Ready At Dawn Studios. The new company will be headed by Didier Malenfant, formerly senior programmer at Naughty Dog. Malenfant jointly founded Ready at Dawn Studios with Andrea Pessino and Ru Weerasuriya, formerly senior software engineer and artist at Blizzard respectively. Pessino, who will serve as technical director and the other two co-founders have worked on an impressive list of titles including the Jak and Daxter titles, Diablo II, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, World of Warcraft, Starcraft: Brood War as well as Starcraft: Ghost.

Ready At Dawn Studios is currently working on its first project. No details regarding genre or platform have been announced so far, though.
