Sega's Big Plans for 2004 01.08.04 - 5:06 PM Sega today announced some of its plans for the new year. The new sister company of Sammy will release a major title of a new genre simultaneously in Japan, the US and Europe by the end of the year. Furthermore, an original RPG was confirmed to be in the works. In further RPG-related news, the company plans to enter the East Asian MMORPG market. Sega also pretty much confirmed its intention to support Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation Portable, by stating it would like to come forward with a presentation at the time of the Tokyo Game Show 2004 in September.
