Bandai has announced plans to bring the popular manga series Boukenou Beet to PlayStation 2 and GameBoy Advance. Similar to Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Full Metal Alchemist), the PlayStation 2 title will be an action RPG, whereas the GameBoy Advance game's genre is only described as RPG. The manga Boukenou Beet was written by the same authors behind Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken. While no release dates or other details were available at this point, first bits of information on those two new manga adoptions will be published in the January edition of Monthly JUMP magazine.
