12.26.03 - 3:13 PM

Kid has announced Remember 11 - the age of infinity, the newest addition to its infinity series of adventure titles, for PlayStation 2. The game takes players to a mountain area in the deepest winter of the year 2011. In the middle of snow and ice a small house is serving as a base camp for mountain climbers. Its ground floor has been transformed into a warehouse, while the second floor serves as a rest area. Since this small wooden building was not constructed as a residence, it does not feature any electric light, kitchen or bathroom. Only lanterns bring some light into its rooms. This last outpost is the main stage for Remember 11, which tells the story of four characters: 20-year old student CoCoro Fuyukawa, 23-year old office lady Lin Mayuzumi, 35-year old mountain climber Seiji Yomogi and 11-year old Uni Kusuda. All four are the survivors of a plane crash and seek shelter in the small building.

The game's second stage is located on a solitary island off the coast of Hokkaido. Called SPHIA, or Specified Psychiatric Hospital for Isolation and Aegis, mentally ill criminals are brought here for rehabilitation. The 7 meter wall surrounding the facility has a radius of 110 meters. Inside, the story of four other characters unfolds. The first one is the same Uni Kusuda, who survived the accident on the mountain side. The second one is Satoru Yukidou, a 21-year old student who has lost his memory after falling from SPHIA's clock tower. While the reason for the accident is unknown, for whatever reason he is still seeking to kill. Kali Utsumi, a former elementary school teacher is the third resident of the facility and acts as mood maker of the group there. Last but not least, there is Hotori Suzukage, the group's trouble maker. While making fun of her surroundings, she also feels depressed.

Remember 11 - the age of infinity's limited edition will come with a materical collection called Premium Book as well as a special voice CD. The standard and limited edition will be available in Japan on March 18th, 2004 for 6,800 yen ($63.41 US) and 8,800 yen ($82.06 US) respectively.
