Sega WOW President Resigns

Sega WOW president Rikiya Nakagawa has resigned from his post and left Sega for personal reasons. As his successor, the company chose another veteran, Kazunari Tsukamoto. Joining Sega in 1987, Tsukamoto worked on arcade titles such as Harley-Davidson and L.A. Riders, Ocean Hunter, Cool Riders and OutRunners. Until his appointment he served as a member of WOW Entertainment's, and following the studio's merger with Overworks, Sega WOW's board of directors. Former Overworks president Noriyoshi Ooba will retain his position as board member and executive producer of the Sakura Taisen series.

Sega WOW is responsible for the development of various popular Sega series including Sakura Taisen, Shinobi, House of the Dead and Sega GT.
