Hudon has updated the official website for the Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) series. Thereby the company also announced a Tengai Makyou-themed writing contest. Titled "Japan's RPG No.1 Software Tengai Makyou", the contest asks participants to write an essay of 400 characters describing the impressions they got from playing Tengai Makyou II: Manji Maru. It goes without saying that only essays in Japanese will be accepted. Apart from the draft (three copies are required), fans interested in participating have to cut out the Manji Maru mark from the game's manual and submit it along with personal information (name, gender, birthday, address, telephone number, place of the game's purchase, day of purchase) to Hudson's Tokyo headquarters. The contest runs through February 16th, 2004. The winners will be announced one month later on the official website. As a first prize, Hudson is awarding an original tour for two to the northernmost of Japan's four main islands, Hokkaido. The three second place winners will have to settle with 50,000 yen ($464.94 US) in cash each.
