Final Fantasy XI for Windows has shipped to North American retailers. This English version includes, as previously announced, the Rise of the Zilart expansion pack (which was originally a separate release) and carries a suggested retail price of $49.99 US. The BradyGames FFXI strategy guide will also soon be available for $19.99.

As a reminder, the system requirements are :Windows 98/98 SE/Me/2000/XP, Intel Pentium III 800Mhz or higher, 128 MB RAM, 6 GB of hard drive space, DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card, CD-ROM drive, keyboard, 56K or faster connection, and either the ATI Radeon 9000 series or NVIDIA GeForce series video card with 32MB of RAM.

The PlayStation 2 version of the game is scheduled for a March 2004 release.
