Two months ago today, RPGFan brought you an in-depth analysis of the expansion to Funcom's award-winning PC MMORPG, Anarchy Online. Thanks to a special media tour provided to us by Funcom, RPGFan had the opportunity to see some special yet-to-be-revealed components of the expansion, entitled Shadowlands, and peer into the highly-anticipated future of the MMORPG. This unique look sparked a great deal of interest in the game from the three editors that participated in the tour, and allowed for a great amount of speculation about exactly how explosive Shadowlands would be when it saw an official public release.

Now that this time has come, editor Stephen Harris shares with us his opinions of Anarchy Online: Shadowlands in hopes of advising you, the reader, on the great time commitment that is a MMORPG.
