New Baten Kaitos Details Announced 10.16.03 - 8:53 PM At a conference held by Nintendo today, new details regarding Namco's upcoming GameCube RPG Baten Kaitos - Owaranai Tsubasa to Ushinawareta Umi were revealed. Completing the game will take about 50 hours. Players who want to do all of the available sidequests can look forward to about 70 hours of playing time. The graphics engine will produce solid 30 frames a second. Furthermore, the development team at Monolith Soft has implemented Dolby Pro Logic support. With the camera feature, players can take pictures of enemies and sell them to raise money. Once players have acquired the light Magnus card, they can use the device's flash as well. As previously reported, there will be more than 1000 different Magnus cards in Baten Kaitos. Last but not least, the event scenes will feature full voice acting. Baten Kaitos - Owaranai Tsubasa to Ushinawareta Umi will be available in Japan on December 5th 2003 for 6,800 yen (61.91USD). |
