InXile Entertainment, the company of industry veteran Brian Fargo, has announced The Bard's Tale, a new RPG for PC and PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. Based on the original RPG of the same title, the game promises a movie-like story and intelligent humor rather than standard RPG genre fair.

The Bard's Tale has yet to receive a release date.
