To say that the GameCube's performance in the RPG market has been lacking is an understatement. A scant handful of titles have been released on the little indigo box in a world where console RPGs are practically raining out of the sky.

Though, Nintendo has always emphasized quality over quantity, and with this lastest chapter in the Tales' series of games, that mantra may ring true. Tales of Symphonia promises to fill the RPG hole on the 'Cube until the advent of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and the next Zelda.
