New Tales of Symphonia Character Info, Gallery Update
07.14.03 - 9:30 PM

Namco has announced two new characters set to appear in its newest RPG, Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube. Regal Byran is a prisoner in the flourishing world of Teseara. After he committed a major crime in the past, he was sentenced to a life in prison. He rarely speaks and generally has a dark expression, but when he does speak, he usually has something important to say. The second character is Mitos, a calm 14-year old boy who happens to be his village's sole survivor.

Tales of Symphonia will be available on August 29th for 6,800 yen ($57.74 US). A limited edition package including a mint green GameCube, GameBoy Player, controller and a Memory Card 59 will be released by Nintendo on the same day for 28,000 yen ($237.75 US). The game was also shown off at this year's E3 but has no US date as of yet.

We also bring you a fairly large media update for Tales of Symphonia, including 31 new screenshots, 10 pieces of character art, the Japanese box art, as well as a special section where you'll find pics of the limited edition mint green Tales GC, and the pre-order goods, the CD-ROM and the calendar.
