Princess Soft has announced plans to release Lost Passage - Ushinawareta Issetsu for the PlayStation 2 later this year. The love adventure will let you control a progatonist who is returing to his home city of Kyoto to gain some teaching practise. Throughout the game the player will be repeatedly asked to choose between two options which will determine the game's scenario and ending. Lost Passage will feature six heroines: Mizuki Usa is very fond of traditional Japanese cultural activities such as the tea ceremony and flower arrangement. She is a long-time friend of the protagonist, a member of the class he is teaching and since the death of her elder sister, the head of a Shinto shrine. Sayuki Yamabuki is the protagonist's cousin and into housework and literary creation. She is the only daughter of the family running the Yamabuki Ryokan, where her cousin is lodging and calls him "big brother". Another member of the class taught by the protagonist is Ikumi Ayanokouji, who is interested in movies, videos and reading. Rino Natsukoshi graduated from the same university as the protagonist. While she is good friends with him, she is also seen as a rival. She is diligent, hard working, but also stubborn. A foreign exchange student from Finland, Erina Lemminkainen attends the same class as Mizuki and Ikumi. Megumi Fujimori is a Shinto priestess working at Mizuki's shrine.

Lost Passage - Ushinawareta Issetsu will be available in Japan sometime later this year. The special first print limited edition will carry a retail price of 7,800 yen (66.19USD), while the standard version will cost 6,800 yen (57.71USD).
