Today, the program for the world's first symphonic concert featuring Japanese and western videogame music has been released. The concert takes place on August 20th in the East German city of Leipzig, and will be performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. Among others the following themes wil be performed: Aeris' Theme (Final Fantasy VII), Shenmue Main Theme (Shenmue), The Great Sea (Zelda: The Wind Waker) and Final Fantasy (Final Fantasy I). Furthermore, it was confirmed that Square Enix's Nobuo Uematsu will be among the attending composers.

The concert will be part of the GC Games Convention on August 20th.
