In another interview with a Japanese publication, Ouji Hiroi commented on his newest project, Tengai Makyou 3 for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The game's story won't be linear and it will take about 40 to 50 hours until players will be able to enjoy the ending sequence. After completing the game once, there is no need for players to start from the intro once again, rather they are free to enter the locations they wish to. The game's soundtrack will be orchestrated classical music and the recording of the tracks will take place in September and October.

Tengai Makyou 3 is scheduled to be available in Japan sometime in spring 2004.
