Fire Emblem Hands-On Impressions & Gallery
05.27.03 - 9:51 PM

Intelligent Systems' strategy RPG series remains obscure in North America no longer. After seven installments of Fire Emblem in Japan, Nintendo of America revealed at E3 that they will bring out the most recent of the series (known as Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken in Japan) to North America. The first one for us, at that.

We bring you a nice, large gallery of 54 screens and 22 pieces of artwork of our many fancily dressed heroes. Unfortunately, while the E3 demo was English, the screens are all in Japanese. Just pretend the text is in English, okay?

But wait, that's not all! Nintendo actually let us - well, one of us - sit and play the entire demo in one sitting during E3, so there's a lot to be shared in our hands-on impressions for the game.

Fire Emblem for the GameBoy Advance is due out in North America by the end of the year. Released just last month in Japan, it has sold 180,000 copies there so far.
