The Art Institute of California in San Francisco has announced plans to hold summer workshops centering around game design for senior high school students. Scheduled to take place between June 24th and 27th, the workshops will offer insight in animation, character and level design, 3D modeling, texture mapping and drawing. Attendees will work with the industry's standard software tools such as 3D Studio Max, Maya and others. The teaching staff will include professionals working at companies located in the Bay Area.

The deadline for pre-registration is May 31st, and applications submitted after May 31st will be accepted on a space-available basis. The four- day workshop will cost $250 USD.
