Weekly Japanese Sales Charts Update

During another slow week, Nintendo's GameBoy Advance strategy RPG Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken entered the charts at spot 2, selling 93,880 copies. Banpresto's newest Summon Night title, Summon Night Kraftnot Monogatari for the GameBoy Advance follows on spot 3, selling 28,832 copies within the first three days of its release. Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters Caravan Heart dropped from spot 2 to 4, thereby selling 27,545 copies this week to bring its total to 432,356 copies. Skip's alternative RPG Giftpia entered the charts on spot 5, selling 22,900 copies. Banpresto's 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha for the PlayStation 2 fell to spot 8, selling 16,185 copies this week and a total of 455,167 copies. Another new entry, Enterbrain's RPG Tsukuuru Advance came in on spot 11 in its first week in the charts, selling 13,420 copies. Namco's PlayStation 2 love adventure Yumeria sold 12,925 copies, thereby entering the charts at spot 13. Victor Entertainment's Bokujou Monogatari Mineral Town no Nakamatachi slipped to spot 15, selling 12,162 copies this week for a total of 36,042 copies. Square Enix's Final Fantasy X-2 fell from spot 11 to 18, selling 10,699 copies this week to bring its total to an impressive 1,928,323 copies. Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters International Worldwide Edition dropped from spot 6 to 19, achieving sales of 10,013 copies this week, resulting in a total of 34,113 copies. Nintendo's Pokemon Sapphire slipped to spot 20, selling 9,680 copies this week and a total of 2,139,957 copies. Another GBA title by Nintendo, Zelda: Legend of the Four Swords dropped to spot 22, selling 9,060 copies this week for a total of 238,737 copies. Capcom's Rockman EXE 3 Black came in at spot 23, selling 8,960 copies this week and a total of 83,616 copies. Pokemon Ruby dropped from spot 20 to 24, selling 8,920 copies this week and a total of 2,087,602 copies. Last week's top seller, the Final Fantasy XI expansion disc Vision of Jiraat for the PlayStation 2 came in at spot 27, achieving sales of 6,414 copies to break the 100,000 mark with a total of 100,174 copies. Bandai's PS2 RPG .hack Volume 4 also managed to pass the 100,000 mark, by selling another 6,261 copies this week to add up to a total of 100,188 copies. Kid's PlayStation 2 adventure My Merry Maybe entered the charts at spot 32, selling 5,362 copies in the process. Takara's GBA RPG Bouken Yuuki Blaster World - Densetsu no Blast Gate - Starter Set sold 4,890 copies on spot 34. Another GBA RPG, Konami's Hunter X Hunter Minna Tomodachi Taisakusen entered the charts at spot 36, selling 4,811 copies. Square Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the GBA fell from spot 24 to 37, thereby selling 4,672 copies this week to bring its total to 422,134 copies. D3 Publisher's Simple 2000 series Vol.21 The Bishoujo Simulation RPG - MoonLite Tale entered the charts at spot 39, selling 4,377 copies. Broccoli's PlayStation 2 version of Galaxy Angel dropped from spot 10 to 41, achieving sales of 3,933 copies this week to add up to a total of 19,666 copies. Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8 slipped to spot 43, selling another 3,635 copies this week for a total of 87,193 copies. Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation 2 RPG Arc The Lad Seiren no Tasogare (Twilight of Spirits) came in at spot 45, thereby selling 3,383 copies to bring its total to 146,848 copies.
