Sony Music has announced that the 17th edition of the Family Classic Concert - Dragon Quest no Sekai (World of Dragon Quest) will take place on August 28th in Tokyo. The songs from Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest Monsters 1, 2 and Caravan Heart will be performed by the Kanazawa Symphony Philharmony and conducted by composer Kouichi Sugiyama himself. On August 10th, a special Dragon Quest concert will be held in Nagoya. Performed by the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra this concert will focus on classic pieces from Dragon Quest I, II and III.

Prices for the Tokyo concert range from 3,500 yen (29.40USD) to 5,000 yen (41.40USD). Tickets for the concert in Nagoya are available for 3,000 yen (25.20USD) and 4,000 yen (33.60USD) respectively.
