.hack Vol.4 Tops Japanese Sales Charts

The fourth volume of Bandai's PlayStation 2 RPG series .hack has entered the Japanese sales charts at spot 1, selling 81,486 copies. Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Hearts hence fell from spot 1 to 2, thereby selling 58,389 copies this week for a total of 371,439 copies. The 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha from Banpresto dropped to spot 6, selling 31,071 copies for a total of 414,130 copies. Square Enix's blockbuster Final Fantasy X-2 sold another 26,332 copies to bring its grand total to 1,903,533 copies, thereby reaching spot 7. Nintendo's Zelda: Legend of the Four Swords fell to spot 10, having sold 14,811 copies this week and a total of 218,466 copies. The GameBoy Advance RPG Rockman EXE 3 Black from Capcom dropped from spot 7 to 16, selling 10,658 copies for a total of 64,166 copies. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire lost some ground, dropping to spot 18 and 20, selling 9,826 copies (for a total of 2,069,892 copies) and 9,436 copies (for a total of 2,120,857 copies) respectively, this week. Sony Computer Entertainment's PS2 RPG Arc The Lad: Seiren no Tasogare came in at spot 23, selling 7,918 copies this week to bring its total to 137,885 copies. The recent installation of Arc the Lad is followed by Square's Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. The strategy RPG for GBA has sold 6,688 copies this week and a total of 410,999 copies since its February 14th release. Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh 8 came in at spot 25, selling 6,238 copies this week, thereby bringing its total of 79,408 copies. Square Enix's Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for PS2 climbed one spot up to 28, selling 3,947 copies and a total of 461,287 copies in the process. Nintendo's Zelda: Kaze no Takuto climbed back to spot 31, selling 3,629 copies this week for a total of 637,926 copies. The Megahits edition of Final Fantasy X sold another 3,567 copies this week, bringing its total to 98,268 copies. NEC Interchannel's PS2 adventure Canvas entered the charts at spot 49, selling 2,292 copies.
